Transmission is a radio-based live performance inviting you on a journey through suburban streets and into the dark.
It’s night time. You receive an address to a local residence. You listen to a mysterious radio broadcast – it seems to be talking to you. The transmission draws you towards unknown destinations – weaving through darkened streets and inward to the soul of the night.
Transmission – into the dark invites audiences to embark on a nocturnal journey that interweaves site-specific radio, installation, night-walking and the sky. A night where the strange is real and the real is strange.
this meditative night odyssey . . . should be judged by the quality of thought it inspires ★★★★

Transmission began in 2016 as Noir Trail. It has evolved over this time. Some elements inspired by our work on Sea Inside in Hammerfest in 2019.
