nowhere is an activity and reflection centred work around notions of nowhere and nothingness. Beginning with an audio track, an sms conversation and a set of tasks at home, participants pack a suitcase of objects which they would pack to go ‘nowhere’. Following this they make an appointment with our existential consultants to unpack, both literally and metaphorically, their notions of nowhere.
Like our other interrogative and intimate works, nowhere sets up conceptual frameworks, activities and provocations to support the participants own process of self-reflection and self-engagement.

My 2014 live art highlight was one step at a time like this’s profound and intimate piece, nowhere, which felt like ‘active philosophy,’ setting off deep intellectual and spiritual resonances.
