Noir Trail is an immersive, radio-based live performance event taking place over multiple locations throughout the night.
Alone in the night, each participant tunes in to an enigmatic radio broadcast. Inexorably, the radio draws them on a journey into night-consciousness, submerging the audience in a world of fears and dreams, of shifting perspectives, blurring the boundaries between sleeping and waking, the everyday & the extraordinary, into the world of dreams itself. And beyond.
Noir Trail is a personalised experience for up to 50 participants. The work interweaves live radio broadcast, installation, live art interventions, a live band and sleeping.
We have undertaken a number of developments through Substation, Newport, and CounterCurrent, Houston.
